The Rione Trastevere, one of the most central and popular areas of Rome, knows how to astonish for its surprising vitality and for the extraordinary versatility that characterizes it. A neighborhood loved by Romans and tourists, whose atmosphere can unpredictably change from one street to another. Often crowded with tourists – walking through shopping, chatting and having an aperitif – it turns into a quiet area, immersed in a charming and warm atmosphere, almost of another era, as soon as you leave the streets and squares best known, and there it goes into the narrowest alleys of the less frequented areas. The mood, the sounds and the colors suddenly change, and somentimes you come across a hidden corner of Rome to be discovered. In this map we have included some places we love, tips and advice to spend a few hours before or after your dinner at Glass, sometimes diverting from Rome’s traditional mass tourism circuits.
